Governor said the government had announced revolutionary policies including Kerala State policy for persons with disabilities, Gender equality and women’s empowerment Policy, the Transgender policy, Child policy, comprehensive Old age Policy, Nutrition policy and an NGO policy. In social sector, the Government disbursed pensions worth Rs 15,911 Cr in the last five years. The IT sector was generating an income of Rs 15,000 crores by way of IT exports. In 2011 the total income from IT exports was Rs 3000 Cr. He said the government provided land to 43,437 land less families under the zero landless scheme besides granting title deeds to 1,48,345 people within a period of four years. Governor said works worth Rs 61.27 Cr had been completed by Government as part of the Sabarimala Master Plan.
